A man from Hudson County has been found guilty of killing his girlfriend's daughter.
A jury convicted Romulo Gregorio yesterday of strangling 20-year-old Christine Mariano and then setting her bedroom on fire in 2009.
The county prosecutor says it appears Gregorio killed Mariano following an argument.
Gregorio will be sentenced on March 19.
