A hip-hop legend from New Jersey was honored in Newark.
Tame One, the brother of rapper El Da Sensei, died late last year and was honored over the weekend in a music video. Both brothers were in hip-hop group Artifacts.
El Da Sensei filmed his latest music video in Newark and says the song is in commemoration of the one-year anniversary of Tame One’s death. He says the single will be released Dec. 1.
“We’re letting everyone know this is all for him and we are commemorating him,” El Da Sensei said.
The group originally hails from Newark and began playing music together in the late 1980s.
