Hillary Clinton's doctor says she's 'fit to serve'
Hillary Clinton's campaign manager says the public now knows more about the Democratic presidential nominee "than nearly anyone in public life."
Robby Mook made the statement after the campaign released an updated review of her physical fitness and details about her recent bout of pneumonia. The documents included a letter from her doctor saying Clinton is "recovering well with antibiotics and rest" and remains "healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States."
Clinton's illness became public when she left Sunday's 9/11 memorial service early and was seen on video staggering while getting into a van.
Clinton is expected to resume campaigning Thursday.
Meanwhile, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said he has handed over a one-page summary of his recent physical to television physician Dr. Oz. Trump and Dr. Mehment Oz will discuss the nominee's health on an episode of the "Dr. Oz" show scheduled to air Thursday.
Trump's physical was conducted last week by Dr. Harold Bornstein, the same doctor who wrote a glowing assessment of Trump's health that has been widely questioned.
Trump and Clinton have each been under increased pressure to release detailed medical records as it gets closer to the election.
The Associated Press wire services contributed to this report.
