Only eight high school teams remain in New Jersey's Last Dance baseball tournament, which started with more than 200 teams across the state.
All eight teams have their eyes set on the same thing -- advancing to the Last Dance World Series on Friday. The north semifinals took place Tuesday at TD Bank Ballpark. Bergen Catholic defeated Delbarton 4-2.
“I'm slow, so I didn't want to hit to a double play, I just wanted to hit something to the outfield, he left the curveball hanging, I put a great bat on it and the double happened,” says Luis De La Cruz, who had four RBIs in the win.
Bergen Catholic now gets Cranford, who defeated Don Bosco 12-0.
“It feels great against the one seed,” says Will Gallagher, who pitched a one-hit, complete game shutout for Cranford. “We were the 13 seed against the one seed and shut them down completely, destroyed them.”

In the south region, Bishop Eustace and Jackson both won and will play today for the south title in Lakewood.
