Consumer Reports has tested 45 popular fruit juices sold across the U.S., including apple, grape, pear, and fruit blends, and nearly half were found to have elevated levels of arsenic, lead and cadmium.

Brands included 365 Everyday Value by Whole Foods, Capri Sun, Gerber, Great Value by Walmart, Honest Kids, Juicy Juice, Market Pantry by Target, Minute Maid, Mott's, Nature's Own, Trader Joe's and Welch's.

Every product had measurable levels of at least one of the four metals.

Long-term exposure to the metals could cause some serious health risks, such as kidney disease and certain types of cancer.
