Members of the Chinese-American community gathered in front of a Paterson court Monday during the hearing of a teen accused of gunning down a Chinese food restaurant owner/delivery driver.
Zhou and his wife were in a car when the 17-year-old suspect allegedly tried to rob him.  A struggle ensued and the teen tried to take the car before allegedly crashing it.
Members of the Chinese-American community say the crime is shocking, but not surprising
They say robberies of delivery drivers in Paterson – who are often lured to fictitious addresses - are all too common. They want to know what's going to be done to protect the community.
The group says it wants to financially support Zhou’s family that was left behind, and wants the city of Paterson to hear their concerns about safety.
