Gov. Chris Christie stopped by MetLife Stadium with some former New York Jets players before Sunday's game to talk to kids about the dangers of opioids.
The governor met with students from across New Jersey and answered questions.
Christie says he chose to make the event a part of his days in office after he lost a college friend to opioid addiction several years ago.
The program is part of a new partnership and ad campaign featuring the Jets and the governor.
The kids also got autographs from the former Jets players and were invited to stay to watch the game at MetLife Stadium.
