In Washington, D.C., police used tear gas on protesters who were in the streets hours after a district-wide curfew went into effect. Police say the protesters were asked many times to leave, but they did not.
An earlier protest near the White House was described by witnesses as tense and peaceful. Hundreds chanted "no justice, no peace" and held signs.
In New York City, demonstrators clashed with police in some protests, others remained conflict-free. Reports from New York say there isn't the looting this morning that happened in the past few days.
Thousands took to the streets to protest Floyd's death in Boston. At another demonstration late last night, protesters threw fireworks at police officers, and police responded with tear gas.
Thousands marched in Floyd's memory last night in Seattle, demanding justice for his death and police reform. Police are looking for looters and vandals who caused major damage over the past few days.
In Los Angeles, thousands marched in Hollywood and chanted outside the mayor's home. There were a number of similar protests all around the area.
