From parties to large gatherings, 70 different issues ignoring Gov. Murphy stay home, social distancing order

There have been 70 different issues across New Jersey apparently ignoring Gov. Phil Murphy’s executive order to stay home and practice social distancing since it was put in place, resulting in 34 indictable offenses.

There have been 70 different issues across New Jersey apparently ignoring Gov. Phil Murphy’s executive order to stay home and practice social distancing since it was put in place, resulting in 34 indictable offenses.

In Harrington Park, a man was arrested for DUI, then allegedly coughed in direction of police officers and said he had coronavirus.
In Bridgeton, a gym operator was charged for hosting an "Herbalife" get together.
In Woodbridge, a barbershop was open.

There have also been several incidents in Lakewood, including more than 35 people who were caught inside a building on Madison Avenue, and a Lakewood couple facing child endangerment charges after police found 50 people, including children, on the front lawn of a home on Alamitos Drive.
The governor commented specifically on the incidents happening in and around Lakewood.
"It's the fastest growing community in the state,” says Gov. Murphy. “If you looked at the streets of Lakewood right now, you'd see barren streets, so this is a vast minority of folks, but listen still we need 100% compliance both in Lakewood and around other communities."

In Ewing, police broke up a party Friday night with 47 people crammed into a 550-square foot apartment with a DJ. The organizer was charged.
Gov. Murphy continues to emphasize the need for everyone to take part in social distancing in order to flatten the curve and get us past the outbreak.
