Friends and family are mourning the death of a 17-year-old boy in Hazlet today.
The teen was crossing Highway 36 near Stone Road on Saturday night when he was hit and killed by a taxi, police say.
According to NJ.com, the boy was wearing dark-colored clothing.
The driver has not been charged.
