Formula One Racing on its way to Weehawken
Fans lined the streets of Weehawken today as Red Bull racing introduced the city to Formula One.
Crowds took in two high speed runs on JFK Boulevard and Port Imperial Boulevard as cars zipped through at speeds faster than 150 mph.
Many believe the introduction of Formula One racing will be good for Weehawken, bringing big business to local shops and restaurants.
The Grand Prix of America is scheduled for June of 2013, and at just shy of three-and-a-half miles, the city circuit should fill up most of the riverside area of Weehawken.
