A former football player for Rutgers University has been arrested in Nashville, Tennessee on an attempted murder charge.
According to police, Nadir Barnwell fractured a woman's skull early Tuesday morning in a drunken attack.
The arrest comes a day after the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office released video of a 2015 street brawl involving Barnwell, as well as other players.
Barnwell was put into a pretrial intervention program for the assault, allowing him to clear his criminal record.
Barnwell transferred to Tennessee Tech following the 2015 fight.
He graduated from there Saturday.
