Summer has arrived at the News 12 Long Island studios, and with it, the first Food Truck Friday series!

 

Green Street is Long Island's plant-based, gluten-free food truck. They offer clean eats that are healthy and delicious.

Owner Matthew Korsky made delicious smoothies, including Tropical Dream, Strawberry Dream and the Sunshine Smoothie. Matt says the Chunky Monkey smoothie is their best seller.

 

The Thai Bowl has raw zucchini noodles, shredded carrots, grilled tofu, steamed broccoli, cilantro, chopped peanuts and Thai peanut sauce.

 

The Plantain Tacos are made with soft corn tortilla shells, fried plantain slices, seasoned black beans, diced tomatoes, red onions and cashew sour cream. The Vietnamese Tacos have tofu, bean sprouts, chopped peanuts and Sriracha mayo sauce.
