NORTH BERGEN - A three-family apartment building in North Bergen was destroyed after a fire ripped through it.

The building is located on John F. Kennedy Boulevard West behind an electrical motor repair shop. Fire officials say the cold temperatures made it difficult for firefighters to put out the blaze.

The Red Cross was at the scene assisting the families. There have been no reports of injuries.
