Brooklyn residents are flocking to their neighborhood bodegas in hopes of picking up a winning ticket for the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots.
The Mega Millions prize is now $654 million after no one matched all six numbers on Friday night. The jackpot has now become the fourth largest lottery prize in United States history.
"That's over half a million dollars so yeah I could do a lot of things with that," said Allan Irving, of Canarsie. "Pay some bills and then some."
The Powerball jackpot has also increased to $345 million.
The next Mega Millions drawing is on Tuesday and the next Powerball jackpot is on Wednesday.
