LAVALLETTE - More than 450 volunteers were out early this Monday morning to plant four blocks worth of dune grass and plants along the bay.
Katherine Murphy, executive director of the charity Waves for Water, says the community of Lavallette still needs a lot of help.
"Lavallette is light years ahead of some of the other Shore towns, but on a whole all of these communities still need help," Murphy says.
