OCEAN COUNTY - The Tuckerton Seaport Museum was the most severely Sandy-damaged museum along the Jersey Shore, and while officials have made progress with repairs, there is still much work to be done.

Curators say five out of 17 buildings at the complex remain closed, but they have been offering daily public tours since the Spring.

Structures there are mostly historical and have to be cleared of mold before they can reopen.

Officials say the seaport suffered $350,000 in damage from Sandy, and they have so far only received $30,000 from FEMA.

A decoy show planned for the weekend is expected to bring in 15,000 visitors.
