Sea Bright kids head into new school year after post-Sandy home repairs

A Sea Bright family whose home was severely damaged in Sandy sent their kids off to school for the first time today since the storm.

SEA BRIGHT - A Sea Bright family whose home was severely damaged in Sandy sent their kids off to school for the first time today since the storm.

The Marellis had to raise their home 12 feet after inundating floodwaters made their way inside.

Their teenage children say they're glad they can finally do homework in a suitable environment.

Their mother, Carol, says she's relieved her kids can get back into a normal routine.
