SEA BRIGHT - A Sea Bright family is raising their Sandy-damaged home to help protect it from future flooding.

A construction crew from Pennsylvania is lifting the Marelli's home by 12 feet.

Hank Marelli says his father is helping to cover the $14,000 cost so they won't have to wait for insurance to kick in. The final product is expected to be complete Wednesday.

The family has not lived in the house since Sandy struck and they tell News 12 that they are looking forward to finally going home.
