SAYREVILLE - A Sayreville man has a plan for the next time floodwaters threaten his home the way Superstorm Sandy did last fall.

Joseph Kloc has constructed a wall made of earth and rocks in front of his home in an effort to protect his property from future floods. The home, which is close to the water, was built by his father 52 years ago.

Kloc says that he is confident his self-constructed wall will work if floodwaters revisit the area.
