SEA BRIGHT - A Sandy victim who has been living at Fort Monmouth the past 14 months is finally set to build her new home in Sea Bright.

The foundation is complete and the wood has arrived for Julie Kellner's new home.

Kellner's home on Beach Street was flooded with 6 1/2 feet of water during the superstorm and had to be torn down.

"It's a very exciting feeling," Kellner says. "I never in my wildest dreams thought a year and a half would go by and I wouldn't even have a wall up. And now the wood is here. It's such an exciting feeling."

The red-colored lumber is specially treated to resist mold, fire and termites.
