AVON - A Jersey Shore restaurant that was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy has made a comeback and reopened its doors.

The Avon Pavilion Restaurant had its grand reopening Thursday.

The restaurant used shipping containers to house the rebuilt restaurant on the Avon boardwalk.

The owner tells News 12 New Jersey he hopes to move out of the containers and into a permanent building in the future.
