Lavallette - Holiday cheer has come to the Sandy-battered firehouse of Lavallette.

The volunteer fire company lost a truck and protective gear after it was badly flooded by Sandy.

Volunteers from YES Contractors came by to decorate the firehouse with donated holiday trim in an effort to lift the spirits of the first responders and residents of Lavallette.

They hope that the residents who have been able to return to Lavallette will stop by to enjoy the lights.
