MANASQUAN - Mayor George Dempsey says his town was devastated by Sandy, but feels they were able to get back on their feet thanks to a dedicated emergency management, police and fire staff.

Dempsey says more than 75 houses were lost and many rental homes were still unavailable by Memorial Day. Beach badge sales are down 22 percent.

Many business are coming back to Manasquan, and new ones are opening, Dempsey says.

Eric Landskroner reports from Manasquan, taking a look at how the community is recovering, and talking about the progress being made in rebuilding what Sandy took away.
