LAVALLETTE - The Lavallette boardwalk is one of the town's proudest accomplishments in their recovery from Sandy.
The town began a "buy-a-board" program to help rebuild the boardwalk. A total of 1,660 boards have been sold so far.
The $332,000 raised means the rebuilding of the boardwalk will not be a burden to the town's taxpayers.
