MOONACHIE - Moonachie residents received much-needed Superstorm Sandy recovery aid today from a nonprofit group that is helping neighborhoods rebuild.
Rebuilding Together helped repair homes and build a playground that were flooded by the Hackensack River during the storm last October.
The organization made today’s repairs possible through sponsorships by the NFL, Popular Mechanics and the Montclair firm Roof 4 Roof, which will install a roof free of charge for a family in need for every customer who buys a roof from them.
