POINT PLEASANT - Residents in Point Pleasant say they are back and open for business.

On the newly rebuilt boardwalk, families are testing out the boards and putting money back into the shore economy.

Visitors to Point Pleasant can also look forward to an upgraded entertainment venue.

Doug Bollinger of Barefoot Real Estate, manages more than 100 rental properties. He says his properties are usually rented but this season visitors are hesistant because of Sandy.

But the community says they are ready for day-trippers as well as renters to their beachfront accommodations.
