EDISON - News 12 New Jersey and Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant Beach will present "Rock 'N' Recovery," a concert fundraiser, on Thursday, May 16.

Proceeds from admission to the concert starring Brian Kirk & The Jirks will benefit the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.

Doors at Jenk's Club open at 7 p.m and the music will start at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20, cash or check only. Sales will be at the door only.

"It will be a great night for a great cause," says Randal W. Stanley, General Manager and News Director for News 12 New Jersey. "Nothing says summer in New Jersey like going to Jenkinson's to see Brian Kirk & The Jirks. And while this season will be a difficult one for the many people around our state still trying to recover from Sandy, this concert is just one more way News 12 can help out our friends and neighbors in New Jersey who are still struggling to get back to normal."
Toby Wolf, director of marketing for Jenkinson's Boardwalk, says the company is honored to host the event. "Although there is so much work left to do," Wolf says, "It's time to take a night off to enjoy a great show!"

The Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund is chaired by Mary Pat Christie, the first lady of New Jersey. Christie says she hopes the concert will bring much needed assistance to those in need. "We're encouraging everyone to come out," Christie says. "See the show and join the tens of thousands of donors from across the globe who are helping in this effort to rebuild New Jersey better and stronger."
