LAVALLETTE - A family run clothing store in Lavallette made its grand reopening today after suffering serious damage during Superstorm Sandy.

Martin’s Casuals sustained damaging floodwaters during the late October storm, forcing owner Nathan Hesslein and his daughter, Lori, to renovate the entire store from the ground up.

Hesslein says that he spent $250,000 of his own money to make repairs to the store, since the building did not have flood insurance.

The store is located at 703 Grand Central Ave. in Lavallette.
