ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS - Shore residents still recovering from Sandy are putting things in perspective this Tuesday as the nation reflects on the Sept. 11 attacks.

Muriel Hemschoot, of Red Bank, lost her son 12 years ago, and visited a memorial in Atlantic Highlands where his name is etched in stone.

The Manhattan skyline is visible from the site on a clear day.

Monmouth County has the largest concentration of Sept. 11 victims from New Jersey.
