Mantoloking begins demolition, debris removal of homes

Mantoloking begins demolition, debris removal of homes (5/7/13)

Officials in Mantoloking say the borough's demolition and debris removal plan is underway.

The borough has contracted Tricon to demolish 50 homes and clear debris from 43 homes.

Officials say they'll begin working on homes on Bay and Ocean avenues this week. Officials will work with Tricon to publish updates nightly on the borough's website.

Mantoloking was the hardest-hit Jersey shore town. All 521 of its homes were damaged, and more than 200 were destroyed by the storm.
