KEYPORT - Months after Superstorm Sandy destroyed dozens of shorelines, members of the Keyport Yacht Club are celebrating the grand reopening of their dock by letting their sails blossom.

The daylong affair included a race followed by a party featuring shucked clams and music, along with a special dinner and fundraiser.

Since April, more than 100 members of the club have volunteered to rebuild the 250-foot dock.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the RAINE Foundation, a local charity that helps children and families facing crisis.
