JERSEY SHORE - While many Jersey Shore night clubs and bars are scrambling to reopen for summer, many favorites will not be opening their doors this year.
Donovan's Reef in Sea Bright will rebuild, but it is unclear how soon. The Beach Bar in Seaside Heights and Joey Harrison's Surf Club in Ortley Beach both have plans to reopen new establishments some time in 2014.
However, the owners of The Osprey in Manasquan are determined to welcome guests to their club in May. Diane and David Marcks have put more than $1 million into reconstructing their business, but are worried that fewer customers will be there to enjoy it.

"We did lose quite a few rental homes in Manasquan and I am concerned there could be less people coming in," David Marcks says.
In the next few weeks, D'Jais in Belmar and The Headliner in Neptune are set to open. Martell's Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant Beach is already serving customers every day.
