HOLMDEL - As areas struggle to recover from Sandy, some smaller towns are getting financial support from their neighboring communities.

"Holmdel Helps Keansburg" is one of those partnerships.

Holmdel Helps is scheduled to hold a fundraiser on March 1 to raise the millions of dollars needed to bring Keansburg back to its pre-Sandy days.

The money raised will go toward purchasing core building materials for the residents of Keansburg, a single square-mile borough devastated by Sandy. There were 1,900 homes damaged by the storm and today, more than half of the residents remain displaced.
