POINT PLEASANT - Businesses along the Jersey Shore celebrated success this Fourth of July weekend.

Great weather made for perfect attendance at Sandy-battered beaches along the Jersey Shore. Area restaurants and businesses also saw big crowds.

Casino Pier in Seaside Heights did not reopen this weekend as scheduled due to recent weather.

Still, its owners say they plan to have at least 10 rides running later this month.
