Debris and sand still visible along streets in Mantoloking

Residents in Mantoloking still can't believe the devastation from Sandy that exists around them.

MANTOLOKING - Residents in Mantoloking still can't believe the devastation from Sandy that exists around them.

The area was demolished during the hurricane and it could take years to clean up. On Barnegat Lane, sand is now in place where the bay once was.

Homes are displaced and some were completely leveled. There is also still debris on many streets.

The mayor of Mantoloking said looking around him still brings tears to his eyes.
