HIGHLANDS - Gov. Chris Christie has announced a large donation from the United Arab Emirates to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.
The money will help fund property renovations and technology at public schools in nine school districts affected by Sandy.
Christie said New Jersey is thankful for the donation. "We have great friends and allies around the world who are willing to help us in times of need, not only because they see humans suffering and want to help to fix it, but also because they believe in the friendship that they have with this country," he said.
