BRICK - Residents of the area known as Camp Osborn along the Jersey Shore's barrier islands will be allowed back into the area to collect their things this weekend.

This is the first time they have been allowed to do so since Sandy.

A total of 87 homes in the complex burned to the ground when the storm flooded the island. Authorities fenced off the area for safety reasons.

The gates will be opened Saturday at noon, and residents will be able to examine their homes to see if any of their belongings survived.
