But the appointment had to be made by Governor Christie, the face of a state government that's broken one promise after another to Newark schools... From new school construction to Abbott school funding -- And parents held their breath.

Eight months into the job, Newark Superintendent of public Schools, Cami Anderson has settled in -- and she joins us to share what's happening in the schools of the state's largest city.
