The 11-year-old Newark girl killed by a hit-and-run driver last week was laid to rest Saturday.
Kaitlin Velez-Manay was killed crossing a Newark street after the Portugal Day Festival.
Several hundred friends and family members paid tribute to the little girl from Pennsylvania who loved butterflies and whose favorite color was pink.
Her family says its grief is magnified by still not knowing who killed their daughter. They say they are urging the Newark Police Department to find her killer so they can have some closure.
Newark police say they are receiving calls and following all possible leads in the hit-and-run.
