Anyone who is looking for a healthy meal or a fresh smoothie may want to head to HLS Juice Bar and Grill in Maplewood.

HLS recently reopened after having to close for a bit due to the pandemic.

“We really strive to meet up with what we stood for, which is health, love and soul,” says co-owner Oby Otti. “We want to provide the healthier options for those who want it. We also want to be able to do so with a lot of love.”

The owners say that their customers really like the fresh options that they are given at HLS. Customers will also enjoy the safety precautions that are being taken.

“We installed our plexiglass barriers between our staff at the front and any customers,” Oby Otti says.

“Social distancing. We marked out where customers need to stay,” says co-owner Benson Otti.

They also increased the frequency of cleaning, especially in high-touch areas.

The Ottis say that they also want to encourage their customers to take advantage of the digital menu, online ordering and cashless payment options.

HLS also has a food pantry section on its website, which had everything from fresh produce to toiletries.
