An elderly woman drove through two houses in a Middlesex County gated community.
Witnesses say the driver, who was not identified, drove through her garage, sped across the road through a hedge and into a neighboring house.
Authorities say the driver hit a gas line and other utilities in her house which had to be shut off.
The house that was hit was unoccupied and remains structurally sound.
No one was injured.
