A driver is facing charges after he crashed his car through a fence and into a backyard, injuring a Lodi man.
Police charged the 47-year-old driver with reckless driving and DWI after he drove through a fence and ran over Greg Ceballos.
The car narrowly missed two other people playing in the backyard, including a child.
Police didn't say where the driver was coming from.
He was given a field sobriety test and a Breathalyzer on scene and was arrested.
Police say more charges may be filed against the driver, including assault by vehicle, as the investigation continues.
A close family friend says Ceballos is doing fine. He suffered a fractured back and is expected to be released from Hackensack University Medical Center soon.
