Thursday, August 28:Princeton ? 6 p.m. - Mercer County for Obama holds a watch party at Democratic headquarters, 162 Nassau St., 2nd Fl., Princeton. Contact: 609-430-0111 or Mercer County for Obama
Franklin Park ? 6:30 p.m. - Bernistine Little hosts a convention watch party on nomination day at Green Hill Villas, 2206 Vetter Drive, Franklin Park. Contact: 732-940-0538.
Roselle ? 6 p.m. - Supporters gather over chips, dips and soft drinks to watch Obama?s acceptance speech. Party hosted by Bettye Ingram at 120 Halcyon Place, Roselle.
New Brunswick ? 7 p.m. - Middlesex County Democrats gather to celebrate this historic night at 101 Paterson St., New Brunswick.
Plainfield ? 6:30 p.m. - Supporters gather at 317 ? A East Front St., Plainfield, to watch Obama give his acceptance speech.
Newark ? 6 p.m. - Downtown Newark Convention Watch Party held tonight at 45 Commerce St., Newark. View the historic event on a big screen.
Jersey City ? 7 p.m. - Obama 08 watch party held at 725 Montgomery St., Jersey City. Food and drinks.
Hoboken ? 7 to 10 p.m. - The Hoboken Democratic Organization holds a watch party for Obama?s big announcement. Over 100 supporters and featured guests, including New Jersey State Assemblyman Ruben Ramos, Jr., who spoke at the 2002 Democratic Convention at age 24, will stop by. Colorado's own Coors Beer will be on tap and Rocky Mountain Chocolates will be served. Specially created Hoboken for Obama T-shirts will be available for sale. Donation $25.00. Details: 201-659-DEMS.
Summit ? 6 to 11 pm. Fountain Baptist Church, 116 Glenside Avenue, Summit. Pot-Luck Dinner in the Fellowship Hall followed by discussion and viewing of Sen. Barack Obama's acceptance speech. There will also be opportunities for unregistered voters to register.
