Witnesses say a woman was killed in what appeared to be an intentional hit-and-run today in Fort Lee. It happened near the intersection of Anderson Avenue and Inwood Terrace, just outside a community center. Witnesses say the driver intentionally and repeatedly ran the woman over, at least three or four times. The victim's identity has not yet been released. Witnesses tell News 12 New Jersey they could hardly believe what they were seeing. Nazaret Manrukin says he was standing near the car and tried to make the man stop, but he just kept running her over. Fort Lee police and Bergen County homicide investigators swarmed the scene. So far, the prosecutor's office has not commented. It is believed that there are several security cameras in the area that would have captured the incident, which may help investigators in tracking down the driver.
