Joe Kubert, famous for his DC Comics drawings, died Sunday at the age of 85.
He founded the Kubert School in Morris County 35 years ago to train aspiring illustrators.
Kubert's war comics, including ?Sgt. Rock,? were drawn to address the moral dilemmas soldiers faced during the Vietnam War era. Comic collectors say his style of drawing was instantly recognizable and his legacy will live on.
Through his career, Kubert also drew Tarzan, Batman and other well known characters.
