The Monmouth County man accused of killing his 2-year-old daughter by dumping her in a creek still strapped into her car seat will head back to New Jersey to face the charges against him.

Arthur Morgan III fled to California and was arrested Tuesday in San Diego a week after authorities say he killed his daughter, Tierra Morgan-Glover.

During a court hearing today, Morgan voluntarily waived his right to extradition. He is charged with murder, interstate flight to avoid prosecution and child custody offenses.

Deputy District Attorney Sylvia Tenorio says Morgan will likely return before Dec. 21. Bail of $10 million has been set in New Jersey.
