CVS will begin administering
Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine to children
ages 12 to 15 following a recommendation
from the CDC.
The news comes after CVS Health last week announced the
pharmacy will start accepting walk-in appointments and same-day scheduling, allowing
people to get an appointment as soon as in one hour.
The company says it’s also offering inoculations in more than 8,300
stores across 49 states. The pharmacies
offer the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
Rite Aid, Walgreens, and
Sam's Club are also now accepting walk-in vaccine appointments.
