Record-breaking crowds showed up to the Field Station: Dinosaurs exhibition in Secaucus before the popular attraction went extinct.
The attraction's giant dinosaur replicas have called Secaucus home for the past three years. The site is now closing down, but not for lack of public interest.
The location will be used for a new school, High Tech High School.
Some of the attraction's dinosaurs may go on loan to museums and zoos, while others are going into storage for the time being.
Organizers say there's a potential deal to send some of the dinosaurs to Kansas and open up a Field Station there. However, they say they have not given up on New Jersey and are exploring some options to keep it in the state.
