A motorcyclist was found injured in the Forked River Mountains Saturday afternoon.

A search and rescue operation took place to locate the injured person who had reportedly fallen from their motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was carried out of the wilderness preserve west of the Garden State Parkway and taken to the hospital.

There is no word yet on the victim's condition.
